We aren’t talking about some generic bulb you’d find at a hardware store. These are precision tools designed to soften glass tubes just right, so you get clean, stress-free cuts every single time. The nitty-gritty on power We build these lamps to fit exactly where your old ones were. You tell us your voltage and the wattage you need to hit that glass transition temperature quickly, and we make it happen. If you need high-wattage tubes for rapid cycling, we’ve got you covered. Just a heads-up: double-check your controllers and wiring. You don’t want to push too much amperage through old contacts and risk burning them out. Materials that actually work We use high-purity quartz glass because it lets the infrared heat through without fighting it. For the tricky jobs, we add technical coatings. This basically “tunes” the lamp so the glass tube absorbs the heat more efficiently. As for the connections, we do the usual R7s or SK15, but we’re happy to customize the lead wires and terminals. We want these to be “drop-in” replacements. A loose fit is a nightmare—it leads to arcing and kills the lamp way too early. We solder and crimp everything to industrial standards so you don’t have to worry about it. Making it fit Our lamps are designed to slide right into the spot where your big-brand parts used to be. To make your lamps last longer, take a second to check your reflector alignment. When a reflector is crooked, you waste energy and create hot spots that can actually crack the tube.
