You want that cozy feeling the second you step out of the shower, but nobody wants a lamp that feels like a stadium spotlight—especially when you’re bathing a baby or just trying to wake up in the morning. The problem with the “bright” stuff Most standard short-wave lamps are just… harsh. They blast a bright Light that makes you squint and can actually tire out your eyes. To fix that, we changed how the light behaves. We used a specific blend of quartz and some internal coatings to filter out those aggressive light peaks. The result? A soft, warm glow. It looks better, sure, but it’s really about safety. It keeps the light gentle on your eyes (and your kids’ eyes) while keeping all that cozy heat focused right where it needs to be: on your skin. Heat isn’t about brightness Here’s a common misconception: people think a bulb has to glow white-hot to be warm. It doesn’t. Heat comes from molecules vibrating, not from how bright the bulb looks. We’ve tuned our lamps to hit that “sweet spot” in the mid-to-long wave range. By tweaking the wattage and voltage, we get a steady stream of warmth that hits you quickly, without needing the lamp to look like a miniature sun. A few tips for installation Bathrooms are wet, steamy places. To keep the insides from rusting or wearing out, we wrap everything in sealed quartz. One thing to keep in mind: because we’ve filtered the light to protect your eyes, these aren’t industrial-strength heat cannons. They don’t throw heat across a massive warehouse. To get that “instant hug” feeling, you’ll want to mount the fixtures about 1.5 to 2 meters away from where you’ll actually be standing. If you put them too high up in the ceiling, you’ll lose that immediate warmth. Keep them close, and you’re golden.
