Why it works so fast
Inside the unit, we use tungsten filaments wrapped in quartz glass. The second you flip the switch, those filaments hit their peak temperature. It’s a different kind of speed. A regular space heater might take ten minutes to make a room feel cozy. Our IR lamps? They hit the target in under three seconds. And that mirror isn’t just for checking your hair. The reflective backing acts like a guide, pushing all that heat forward toward you instead of letting it soak into the wall.
The nitty-gritty on materials
Bathrooms are tough on electronics. Between the steam and the temperature swings, things tend to break. That’s why we stick with high-purity quartz—it handles “thermal shock” without cracking. We also obsess over the seals. We use specific gaskets to keep moisture out of the electrical guts. If water creeps in, the unit burns out. Simple as that. One thing to keep in mind: power. A higher wattage lamp feels warmer, but it puts more stress on your electrics. Getting it installed
We wanted these to be easy. They’re designed as drop-in replacements, and the wiring is straightforward.
